Do You Know the “True” Condition of Your Pipes?
As part of your preventative maintenance program or prior to any pipe system repair, MIDAS Trenchless Solutions crews will provide complete TV inspection, assessment, and cleaning services.
Midas Trenchless Solutions Specializes in CCTV Inspections and Evaluation Services
We utilize state-of-the-art “pan and tilt” cameras to perform 360˚ video inspection of the pipe, including detailed views of any lateral connections. Our PACP certified technicians will then review the condition of the main line, joints, and identify cracks, holes and any other issues within your pipe. A complete damage assessment report is provided, as well as a recommendation for repair.
MIDAS Vac and TV trucks are available 24/7 to handle all your sewer cleaning, inspection and pipe assessment projects.
During any pipe inspection, MIDAS will identify, locate, mark and provide a thorough report on the following:
- Collapsed pipe
- Obstructions or debris
- Structural cracking, with and without deflection
- Missing portion of pipe wall
- Sagging or excessively deflected joints
- Cracked and open joints
- Root intrusion
- Protruding joint sealing material
- Corrosion conditions including:
- exposed aggregate
- exposed reinforcement and/or disintegrated wall
- exposed soil surrounding the pipe
- Infiltration points and amounts
Certifications & Qualifications
MIDAS CC/TV Operators are PACP certified and qualified to assess and document the condition of underground piping systems.
The Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) is the North American standard for pipeline defect identification and assessment. It provides standardization and consistency to the methods in which pipeline conditions are identified, evaluated and managed.
Developed in partnership with the Water Research Centre (WRc), PACP is the North American adaptation of the United Kingdom’s TV inspection coding system developed by the WRc. The coding system is the recognized standard in the United Kingdom and much of Europe and Asia.
