- Excavation Trenching Competent Person – bi-annual (all MIDAS field employees)
- Confined Space Entry – bi-annual (all MIDAS field employees)
- Conduct companywide monthly safety meetings to cover pertinent topics
- Weekly toolbox talks to all foreman signed & returned to Safety Director’s office (conforms to OSHA requirement for continuous training)
- Certify all crew leaders for First Aid/CPR/AED per OSHA requirement

Dedicated In-House Safety Training Facility
- Dedicated classroom facility to accommodate 30-40 employees for safety training
- Computer facilities set up for online videos and training courses
- Hands on training in CPR and other practical areas
How We Work Closely with Our Customers and Contractors
- Engage with Prime/General Contractor reps on site
- Partner with WSSC Safety Inspectors to maintain rigorous compliance on associated sites
- Provide copies of safety trainings, JHA’s, Confined Space Occupancy Permits, and Critical Lift Plans
Regular Site Visits and Strong Field Presence
- Average 40-50 job site inspections monthly for approximately 20 active sites daily
- Take an active role in assessing projects and potential hazards to formulate safe, effective, and efficient procedures to get the job done safely
